The Biography of Kayo Cash

"The man behind the brand..."

Kory Norris (born February 27) known professionally as Kayo Cash, is an American singer/ songwriter from Chicago, Illinois. Cash turned down his first recording contract with World Supremacy Records, L.L.C. in late 2017 after the unofficial release of his debut single “Appointments." He is best known for creating the newest hip-hop sub-genre 'Melodic Rap' in early 2018, breaking away from the ever so popular Rock-Rap wave which includes acts such as Lil Uzi Vert, XXXTentacion and Famous Dex.

Cash began to garner local recognition on the stand alone record "Gold God" (shot and directed by Laka Films) in 2015 with co-signs such as Chicago rapper King Lil Jay and producer/ engineer L-Boogie of THEMPeople (Chance the Rapper's "10 Day").

Unfortunately, Kayo was wrongfully incarcerated that same year for several charges including Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Reckless Driving before he could release more music and build on his new-found fame.

Upon his release and victory over the Chicago Police Department, Cash experienced the pressures of his Chicago lifestyle; the need to generate a source of fast and reliable income as well as his insatiable appetite for women (all of which is highlighted in the debut mixtape ‘Cashface’.)

As of late, Cash has been pushing out brand new music through his YouTube channel and surprising fans with 'limited-time' downloads on his SoundCloud page as well; with songs like "No Drill", "Appointments" and "Level Up" just to name a few.

With nothing holding him back, Kayo Cash is ready to take the music industry by storm and nothing can stand in his way. The only question he poses to his listeners is, "... are you ready?"
